Pre-Sales question: Can this plugin edit custom fields that are of type "Date" (both single and in bulk). I assume that this would be similar to editing the "Publish Date" field in regular posts (as shown in your demo) but I want to make sure.
Yes, it can. You can check the demo: https://wpmelon.com/demo/wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=product&page=advanced_bulk_edit If the field "Publish Date" is not visible in the grid, make it visible by using the "Show/Hide Fields" button.
Hi, it says "Publish Date" is supported, I tried the demo and cannot make that happen.. thanks..
Hi, If the field is not visible on the grid, you can enable it from the Show/Hide Fields dialog.
Hi! I needed the Woocommerce version, accidenly bought this one. Can you please refund this plugin? Alreadt bought your woocommerce version. Thanks :)
Hi, Yes, request it via your profile.
Congratulations on the beautiful work !!!
Is there a way for the plugin to see custom post type taxonomies, such as categories so that the column(s) can be added, updated?
Hi, Please, try adding the custom fields using the button "Find Custom Fields".
thanks, will do.
Thanks Find Fields only displayed custom fields. Find Taxonomies did not find any built-i or custom taxonomies. My Custom posttype is using product catgeory taxonomy from Woocommerce and another custom taxonomy.
For the WooCommerce products, please check our other plugin: WooCommerce Advanced Bulk Edit.
I bout that too. it only supports products. This is a CPT with custom taxonomies.
It seems to custom then. The plugin might not be able to detect it.
Any chance of your plugin having the ability to pull ACF (Advanced Custom Fields) attributes in your Show/Hide Columns? Some of my custom posts have custom fields to them too, it'd be a great add-on.
Try "Custom Fields" -> "Find Custom Fields" but I think ACF uses complex data for its fields and would not be editable.
I would love you forever if you would allow to export and import posts of a type into another wordpress installation (with customizing names of post type, taxonomies, fields so something like "old post type slug, new post type slug, old field name, new field name)
I'll see, in general it will have feature parity with the woocommerce version.
Well.. I dont have a shop so woocommerce is not a search term for me.. Any Chance to switch my License or upgrade it to the woo Version?
I had a look now at thw woo version. But it seems that the woo one can only add products and variations, but not post. It would really help to import the exportet csv (this way, I can simply change heading namens in csv).
You don't need the woo version, csv import is coming in a future update.
my problem is simple : How can I copy the content of the spreadsheet on my "old" wp installation to my new "wp installation". I don´t need to copy images, cause these would really blow the file of export data. But if all images (post image and maybe image fields) would be shown as urls, I could easily use REPLACE in URLs to change them to the new domain. Would really really help, if export and import in a raw text format would work :) Oh, and by thinking about it... Taxonomies are shown in checkbox tooltips, right? What if you allow just text imput, comma seperated, like the WP backend does it, and if the plugin finds not existing terms, show a list and let uncheck those that should not be created. This would be really really really incredible :) When entering my 1300 posts the first time, I often had the problem, that I have to leave the bulk edit screen to create a new taxonomy and then go back to bulk to select it :)
This plugin has worked great for me. I feel like it should be selling more than it has. Maybe it needs some advertising behind it? Since it has not sold as much as it should, do you plan on developing it further? Will we see another update?
Yes, it will. I just don't have the time for it these days.
Hi i just buy a template citytours ( for a travel agency with a lot of hotels ) and i bought your plugin to manage all hotel with price and categories easly the probleme i can see hotel with image and texte but i can not see the price and categories the system is exactly like post system
Hi, If some filed is not displayed in the grid, first try to find it and enable it via "Show/Hide Columns" and if it's not there, then try adding it from "Find Custom Fields".
Hi georgeiron thanks for your reply its realy help me , but i have another question i have in dropliste to select my hotel ( post / page / media / hotel .... ) when can i find this list to add other staf i need in this liste ) thanks
Hi, These are post types. For more info, please check this tutorial: https://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-create-custom-post-types-in-wordpress/
Love the plugin. Question though. Am I able to pull in Yoast fields in with the post and pages? To edit with the pages i have pulled up?
Hi, You can only edit the fields stated in the plugin description, as well as custom fields, created by the plugin itself.
I was waiting for this plugin for a long time (especially for CPT support). First use of WooCommerce Advanced Bulk Edit was life changing experience for me. I convinced now I can speed up my workflow twicely. Thank you for the excellent job!
This Plugin is AWESOME. Only two wishes: Please add a field type image and allow to fill columns like in excel (cells in columns in bulk)
Oh and another little thing... Would be great to just enter a comma seperated list of taxonomies/categories instead of selecting them in the popup. Would save a lot of time. And if the taxonomy not exists, why don´t create it?
Hi there, I was hoping to be able to bulk edit posts in a custom taxonomy so that I can give them a parent/child relationship... is that possible with this plugin?
.... just read your comment from previous post. Looks like the plugin doesn't support parent/child relationships.
Yes, parent/child relationships are not supported.
Hey there, First off, this is truly an amazing plugin. I know my support is long expired, but just an FYI that when I try to bulk edit a custom post meta field with this plugin, I get a 403 error. I have tried to clear my htaccess, disabled nginx, disabled my firewall, disabled my cache, and disabled my security plugins but have found no joy. Any idea why this might be the case? I see that you just pushed an update and I installed it. Still couldn't get it to work :/ Thanks, Jesse
Hi, Do you have any PHP or web server error on the server side?
Hey goergeiron, Thanks for your response. It gives me a 403 error on admin-ajax.php - I can't get much further than that in the logs. I have tried using debug mode in the plugin, but it just shows the time the operation took - and that "the link you followed has expired." Jesse
403 error is for forbidden access to resource. I'm not sure this error is related to the WP Advanced Bulk Edit plugin.
Correct. But this only occurs when I'm using the plugin, and many other resources utilize admin-ajax.php. So I am at a loss here :/
Nice plugin :) !! been using it for a while now
Although I do recommend to add "image" compatibility. For example get posts that have no featured image. It would be very useful.
comes handy when you've 10K+ posts
Hi, You mean to add "Image" field in the filters section ?
Yeap, if I have "image field" then I can display blog posts that don't have featured image attached.
I see. Ok then, I'll add it to the feature list for one of the next release. Thank for the feedback!
This is really the most helpful plugin I've installed since a long time. We have more than 10.000 articles/posts and we have to update them a lot, so this plugin is going to save a lot of time for our editors. Thank you very much! Amazing work :-) I have a lot of custom post types installed. Some of them have the same name in the GET POSTS popup. Here is an idea for a great improvement: 1) possibility to give them an individual labels since I have 2x CTP "post" and 3c CTP "event" 2) possibility to hide some very internal custom post types Additionally it could be interesting to have a "show only" function since my editors shouldnt change the slug or other sensitive data. Again thank you so much for this fantastic plugin. greetz, Mat
awesome, thanks thanks thanks
we wait WordPress USERS Advanced Bulk Edit, Woocommerce USERS Advanced Bulk Edit, WordPress COMMENTS Advanced Bulk Edit, Woocommerce COMMENTS Advanced Bulk Edit
Does it allow editing of Exerpts??? Does it work on multisite? Is it possible to disable features such as items on the visual editor like Bold etc??? Great usefull plugin!!
It can edit exerpts and should work on multisite. Disabling items in the visual editor is not possible.
hi, thanks for the great plugin! I was wondering, if it would be possible in the future for you to integrate custom SQL code to retrieve custom columns in custom tables? My custom post type has something like product variations and I am a little puzzled on how to modify your plugin to retrieve those as well. do you have any pointers on what I can modify to retrieve them?
Hi, That's not supported right now, contact me via my profile page to discuss this further.
Great Plugin BTW is there somehow a possibility to add visual composer to the texteditor in the content field?
I don’t think it’s possible, I call a single WordPress function to get the html code of the editor.
