I don't know if there's a bug in the current version but it crashes builders in Divi and BeaverBuilder in every one of my sites that I've tried. Beware.
Hi! Thank you for your feedback! I did a quick test for Beaver Builder Plugin (Lite Version) and I wasn't able to recreate the bug you described. Please contact us via Support Forum or email: [email protected] where our Support Team will check this problem on your site. Ultimate GDPR wasn't tested with Divi theme builder so I have no information about it right now. Thanks, createIT
the user has no option to decline. Shouldnt that be implemented?! or is this allowed like this (gdpr)?
By default all cookies are blocked until user gives he's consent to one of 4 groups of cookies. So lack of consent works like a decline here. Please note that for many pages some cookies had to be used to assure correct website working (e.g in woocommerce shops), so if user wants to use all website's functionalities he has to accept at least essential cookies, required for it's correct working.
Hello again, i just put another request on your support system. Check it please!
Hi! Sure! Someone will get back to you shortly. Thanks, createIT
Hello, very happy about your plugin: i am reading other customers questions and answers, in one of them you say the Cookie Notice translation issue is solved: i'm using wpml, all is fine but i can't translate the Cookie (custom text- not default one) Text. I 've string translation active in wpml but it can't find it searching for strings . Any suggestion please, it would be the cherry on the pie (as we say in italyyy)!
Funny thing is your plugin works but another one I purchased did not. However, they added a Mailster option to allow unsubscribeing. Would you be adding any other email options other than Mailchimp?
Hello! Mailster is already on our roadmap, the integration should be added this week. Thanks, createIT
Hello there, Please advise and confirm this is the right way to translate the plugin to Spanish using the pre-packed Spanish version which are available on your site at: http://gdpr-plugin.readthedocs.io/en/latest/Page/Translate.html# : So, should I just copy the ct-ultimate-gdpr-es_ES.mo and ct-ultimate-gdpr-es_ES.po in /mydomain/wp-content/plugins/ct-ultimate-gdpr/lang/? is that all? or should I do anything else? I have already installed the pluging and if I go to /mydomain/wp-content/plugins/ct-ultimate-gdpr/lang/ I see there are 12 zip files for the different languages plus a ct-ultimate-gdpr.pot file. What should I do with those file, should I leave them there and just copy the ct-ultimate-gdpr-es_ES.mo and ct-ultimate-gdpr-es_ES.po in the same directory, or should I remove those zip files and the ct-ultimate-gdpr.pot file and leave only the ct-ultimate-gdpr-es_ES.mo and ct-ultimate-gdpr-es_ES.po in that directory? Please advise, Thanks,
Hi keidderf! No, the path /wp-content/plugins/ct-ultimate-gdpr/lang/ is where users can find packages with the pre-packed translations. If you wish to translate the plugin to the Spanish language please copy ct-ultimate-gdpr-es_ES.mo and ct-ultimate-gdpr-es_ES.po to /wp-content/languages/plugins/ and make sure that in General Settings of your site as a Site Language you have set the language you want to use. Please, let us know if you will still have any issues using this translation files. Thanks, createIT
Many thanks :-)
Sorry, another question regarding these cookies but what are the expiry times for them?
Thought that was the case but just wanted to check. Thank you for answering this question so quickly. Really appreciated.
Glad I could help!
Hello! Can you please contact our support team https://createit.support/ with test access to your website so we could check this? Guys will be more than happy to help you there. Thanks, createIT
Hello, Where is version 1.5?
Hi! Unfortunately we had to postpone it, but if you are waiting for any particular feature from that version - please let us know via our support https://createit.support/ and we will do our best to introduce it earlier for you. Thanks, createIT
Yes, sorry... as above (GermanHero2) none of those features work for me either, shortcode only outputs row headers, no cookies shown despite having many on my site. Same for Detect Cookies in admin area seems to do nothing. This would be a VERY VERY handy feature if it worked!
Problem compatibility with woocommerce 3.3.5. in "all products" on "screen options" the column check for hide elements doesn't work if you click Apply. Resolve please
Hi! We're checking the problem. Thanks for your feedback. createIT

Hi! Can you please contact our support https://createit.support/ with test access to your website, so we could check this? I can't recreate the problem with loop in detect cookies. Thanks, createIT

Hi! I forwarded your ticket to our support. Someone will contact you as soon as possible. Thanks, createIT
Also, you should test your plugin with Wordfence which is a very popular security tool. I receive Wordfence alerts with your plugin as follows:
Blocked for XSS: Cross Site Scripting in POST body: ct-ultimate-gdpr-cookie = ulp-onscroll-9C8wqqEZpJqnuCB6, ct-ultimate-gdpr-cookie
Hi! Thanks for reporting this. We will check this problem. Thanks, createIT
A lot of compatibility problems
Hi! Can you be more specific? What exactly is not working for you? Thanks, createIT
Hello, I just wanted to point out a small change you can make concerning the requirement for ACF. Instead of just checking if the plugin is installed, check if the ACF class exists because certain developers like me integrate ACF Pro into the theme built, so it's available so redundant (and impossible) to install it as a plugin.
Hi! Thanks for the feedback! We realized that recently and currently working to have it done this way. Thanks again! createIT
Hi Great plugin! playing with it for some time now since i bought it. everything is in development, but so far it looks promising!. you guys wrote it is WPML compatible, but there are quite some thing i can't see where to differ by language(i have 2 languages): 1) privacy page & toc page i can only choose one, pull down shows pages of all languages. 2)concent checkboxes: only English text & no where to change them in a 2nd language 3) where to define language of the texts on the pages with the shortcode: [ultimate_gdpr_myaccount]. haven't got the chance to go trough all the options, but these are soem remarks so far. But i might be using the plugin wron. if so i like to hear as well of course! Keep up the good work!
Hi! Thank you so much for your kind words, they mean a lot to us :) 1) Right now this option is not available in the plugin but we are working on it! It should be available on the Monday update. 2)To create a translation for elements like content from the shortcode: [ultimate_gdpr_myaccount] please go to WPML > String Translation and there you should be able to find this phrases (example) (example2) 3) After translating the content from the shortcode (please check no.2) you just need to choose the language of the page where the shortcode is added. WPML plugin will choose the correct language version of the shortcode content to display there. If you will have still some problems with the plugin please don't hesitate to contact our Support Team via e-mail: [email protected] or our site: https://createit.support/. Our team will be more than happy to help you there. Thanks, createIT
Hi, Cookie list doesn't show. I make a site gettinenglish.com/cookie with the code [render_cookies_list] but nothing show. I also disabled caching cookie ct-ultimate-gdpr-cookie
Hi! Can you please check whether you have cookies defined in Services Manager tab? You can load cookies there with 'Cookie Detect' function. Thanks, createIT
I've just updated the plugin and now it's working :)
Great to hear that :) Thanks for the info!
